Yorkshire & the Humber

2nd - 15th May

Known for its Roman and Viking heritage, the region of Yorkshire and The Humber has an abundance of beautiful rolling countryside interspersed with pretty villages as well as some of the UK's largest and most vibrant cities. The region comprises of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire and shares borders with North East England, North West England and the East Midlands. It incorporates some large rural areas such as the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors which provide some fantastic riding and walking opportunities. The Yorkshire Dales has a network of over 500 miles of bridleways, byways and green lanes and incorporates parts of the famous Pennine Bridleway.

This region is where the Relay begins on 2nd May before passing the baton the the North East region on 15th May.
